IAS Elements

Client application is created from the set of IAS elements united in hierarchical structures. There is no any constraint to those structures.  All is determined by the subject area. Folderelement is used to form the hierarchy.  User with sufficient access rights can add new elements to the hierarchy and edit its properties. Elements have just been created can be executed.

IAS elements can exchange the data. The data represented by one element can be input parameters for the other. It allows creating multi-tier master-detail links between elements.  Children elements feel data changes in parent elements and update own data according those changes.

Form (Web form)

Forms and web forms are intended to implement an user interface in desktop and web applications respectively.


Queries are used to access to the tables and views of the database. The data returning by the query is determined by the SQL expression of used database dialect. Query result is displayed in a grid view. This data can be analyzed with additional filters and can be exported to MS Excel if needed.

As a rule, queries and stored procedures are not used independently. They play the role of the data sources for the reports, diagrams and OLAP cubes.

Stored Procedure

Stored procedure element is used to access to the database stored procedures. If stored procedure returns the record set then it is represented as the query result. As a rule, queries and stored procedures are not used independently. They play the role of the data sources for the reports, diagrams and OLAP cubes.

In addition, stored procedures are often used in forms and web forms to implement business-logic of the application.

OLAP analysis

To carry out a multidimensional data analysis built-in OLAP tool is used. It works on the base of the query and stored procedure result set. It allows to make a data section with applying grouping and aggregation.

Business graphics

To conduct graphical data analysis technological platform offers diagram and timeline elements. Diagrams are built on the base of the query or stored procedure. They correspond to the set of several line or bar series. Also, it is possible to create pie charts and Gantt diagrams. Created diagram can be analyzed by changing input parameters or applying filters.

Timeline allows to carry out analysis of a few line series depended by the time. Time interval and view scale (fixed date, monthly, annual) can be specified. Timeline element includes statistic functions, it allows interpolating the data, building thresholds and finding intersection points. Also it have a tool displaying measuring values at any time moment.


Report element is intended to represent the data from the database in a ready-to-print form. Reports can be built on the base of queries, stored procedures returning result set and forms. The format of the report is determined by the template being created in MS Excel. Reports can have input parameters. Additional filters can be applied. The result of the report execution is MS Excel worksheet which can be edited and printed.


Document element is intended to store any files in the information system. On executing document is being downloaded to the client machine and opening by the application which can work with the files of such type. Changing the contents of the file user can upload the updated version to the system.
